Village Board

The Village Board meets on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The Village Board is comprised of one Village President and four Village Trustees. The Village President is a two year term, elected on odd years at the Spring Elections. Two Village Trustee positions are up for election each year, elected at the Spring Elections. Nominations are taken at the caucus in January.

Plan Commission

The purpose of the Plan Commission is to maintain the Village’s Master Plan--a blueprint of future growth needs. The members forward recommendations to the Village Board on zoning, land use and subdividing during their terms.This commission is also responsible for reviewing matters related to new subdivisions, lot splits, planned developments, neighborhood and comprehensive plans, other planning issues, and reporting their findings to the Village Board.The Plan Commission meets on an as needed basis.

Board of Appeals

The Board of Appeals shall consist of five members and two alternates appointed by the Village President and subject to confirmation by the Village Board. The appointments are for 3 year terms.
